Adele Tribute Katie Markham at the OMG Awards 2016

Earlier this month Katie had the amazing fortune to be performing for Thomas Cook. The venue was the Wembley Hilton Hotel. The annual OMG event involved training and awards for over 200 Thomas Cook airline staff. This included staff from across the UK and Europe. The staff and event organisers were amazing and really made the evening special for everyone in attendance. The guests were looking magnificent dressed to the nines. Katie was given the cue to get ready whilst the guests were sampling the fantastic food and drink.

Katie was introduced as “Adele” which had the guests racing frantically across to have a sing and dance. Katie began by belting out the James Bond hit “Skyfall” and then moved on to hits from all 3 Adele albums. The guests were up and dancing and it was “selfie” time as they caught some snaps of Katie as she performed in full costume. Katie eventually finished the first set and was mobbed by guests wanting photos. She eventually got free and changed out of her Adele costume to perform as herself in the second spot. This consisted of upbeat party hits which got everyone moving and dancing. Even the Thomas Cook official Twitter account got into the act by responding to Katie later the next day.
